It all Started When a 20-Year-Old Opened His First Sno® Shop in Lubbock, TX

Blake Buchanan’s dream started with a single ice shaver and a passion: To create a dessert shop where everyone is welcome, and where everyone could celebrate the small joys in life with a “Mini-Vacation.”

THE FIRST SHOP

Constructing the original shop by hand, Blake enlisted volunteer help from three generations; Blake's dad and now partner, Tom Buchanan, as well as both grandfathers, Truman Golemon and Paul Buchanan. Together, they built the original shop using scrap wood and sweat equity.
